Must agree to allow the Mariposa Foundation to conduct a background check to verify applicant’s identity.
Must use the Mariposa Foundation Grant Application, which is available on this webpage (see DOWNLOAD button below); substitutes will not be accepted.
Must provide a compelling justification for the charitable grants by explaining the proposed plan, to include specifying the proposed education and training program or activity and how it aligns with applicant's long-term goal pathway.
Mariposa Foundation grants can only be used for education and training programs and activities conducted within the United States, and the program or activity must be completed by the end of the following calendar year in which the grant is received.
Must not have received a previous Mariposa Foundation grant.
Must submit a Mariposa Foundation Post Grant Status Report by the end of the following calendar year in which the grant is received, which is available on this webpage (see DOWNLOAD button below); substitutes will not be accepted.
May 31st: deadline for deserving adults to submit education and training charitable grants application. All grant applications should be sent to grants@dhmariposafoundation.org.
June 30th: deadline for Mariposa Foundation Advisory Board to review/score grant applications.
July 31st: deadline for Mariposa Foundation Advisory Board to select and notify grant recipients, and disburse grant checks.
